About Seaforth Publishing  —  Seaforth Publishing is a new maritime book publisher run by the long-established editorial team of Robert Gardiner and Julian Mannering, who share a passion for ships and the sea and have between them more than fifty years of commissioning experience first building the Conway Maritime Press list in the 1980s and '90s and later setting up Chatham Publishing.

What We Publish  —  We specialise in books on most historical maritime themes, ranging from ship design to life at sea, in varied formats from highly illustrated technical reference books to reprints of classic narratives. Subjects include ship design and development, naval and mercantile history and biography, nautical archaeology, exploration, and ship modelling.

WHITTLES  PUBLISHING — an independent publishing house

http://whittlespublishing.com                   Whittles Publishing has been established for some years but recently has expanded significantly, becoming a well-known technical publisher on a global stage.     We are consolidating our international reputation as a source of high quality, informative and practical technical books and are pleased to have many eminent and well-respected authors from around the world on our list. While building upon our strengths, we are also expanding our lists to include active and emergent technologies and disciplines.

We publish quality, well-produced and attractive books and specialise in the following subjects: geomatics, civil and structural engineering, and applied science.  We pride ourselves on publishing quality, well-produced and attractive books and also publish non-technical books within the following areas: maritime, pharology, military history, landscape and nature.

Check our website sections "PUBLICATIONS - Member Publications" for three of the latest books authored by WSS members and published by Whittles. Or you can check out the publisher's website for a long list of maritime titles at:  http://whittlespublishing.com/index.php?view=category&category=11
