62nd Annual General Meeting - Cartagena, Spain - May 2009

Another successful meeting was concluded on the weekend of May 15th to 17th, 2009 in Cartagena, Spain.

Friday 15th May - evening get-together at the Cartagena Port Authority Theatre, which is located adjacent to the AGM host hotel, included welcome and information about Cartagena and some ships.

Saturday 16th May - 10.00 am - Visit to the Arsenal (Spanish Naval Base) and Submarine base, OR alternately a guided tour around the Roman Museum and Roman Theatre, OR a tour of the City Hall (formerly the Consistorial Palace).     2.00 pm - Annual General Meeting in the Hotel Conference Room.                    8.00 pm - AGM Dinner in the Hotel Conference Room.

Sunday 17th May - 10.30 am - Tourist boat trip to the Fuerta de Navidad (Christmas Fort), overlooking the harbour entrance, and continuing towards the Escombreras Basin, the main commercial port for Cartagena, followed by a trip around Cartagena Harbour.
