Warships no 194

Warships no 194

In this 44 page issue, Derek Waller continues his exploration of the archives recording the Allied discussions regarding disposal of surrendered German Navy ships in 1945-46. His comprehensive review notes the difficulties with the Russians, especially over the destruction of captured U-boats. Ian Buxton continues with his recording the output of gun mountings ordered from Vickers-Armstrongs at Barrow from 1934 to 1938, a busy rearmament period, with revealing photographs of their erection. A selection of photographs completes the issue.
