Produced with the full co-operation of the company, the book tells how the Gorthon and Borjesson families entered shipowning in 1915 and traces the growth of the various companies in the Gorthon group and how they became involved in the carriage of forest products, citrus fruit and other trades. The fleet list details 74 ships and there are 84 black and white illustrations as well as a full-colour frontispiece and flags and funnel drawings.
